I tend to keep my comments inside of California on this blog. Tonight, for the second straight night, I’m breaking that tradition (kind of). It’s still about California in a way since it’s about the House’s desperation to have leader due to the current squatter in Pelosi’s vacant office named Kevin McCarthy. I think Kev-o believes he has squatter’s protections like in his own district, but unfortunately he does not. By the looks of things, he won’t be squatting in Nancy’s office for much longer. I hear he’s been caught smelling the curtains like he’s trying to catch her scent. I bet this helps him calm down and regroup whenever he is feeling isolated and digging deep for strength to fight his “never ending war.”
McCarthy, as you know is the “Less Blue” Congressmen from California’s 20th District. This is a real peach of a district. Lots of homeless, junkies and crime. Last night’s post covered his district in a little more detail so no need to repeat myself on that sketchy stretch of Valley.
I said this was about Trump so let’s get back to that. Thanks to that absolute savage Matt Gaetz, President received two votes for Speaker of the House today, tying a record held by only one other former President by the name of John Quincy Adams.
So I guess tomorrow they will cast vote #12 and the war for our party shall go on. Maybe President Trump will get a 3rd vote and get the title, that would be great. You know what else is tomorrow? The anniversary of the Trump lead “attempt to overthrow our government”. I couldn’t think of a better day for the Republicans in the House to elect Donald John Trump as their next speaker. That’s obviously wishful thinking. On the more realistic side, it will most likely be another day that Kevin McCarthy does not get elected Speaker of the House. What a prick. Every day that K Mac isn’t speaker is another day money wasn’t sent to Ukraine. Kind of hard to send more missiles when you haven’t even been sworn in yet.
